TigerPOS Software will verify age with driver's licenses using the magnetic stripe or PDF barcode printed on the license. The Honeywell Xeon 1900 Scanner with Easy ID will read the PDF barcode in 48 states (reference map below), and the credit card reader can be used for Colorado ,Texas, Kansas, Minnesota and New Mexico driver’s licenses.
Use our mass updater to set all the inventory items with in the liquor, wine, or beer departments to require a driver's license be scanned when selling the product. The Check ID button can be used for occasional driver's license verification.
